Privacy Policy for Intent Spotter

Intent Spotter ("we", "our", or "the Extension") is a Chrome browser extension designed to help B2B sales professionals and agencies identify buying intent in public LinkedIn feed posts and generate personalized outreach email drafts.

1. Data We Collect and Process

• User Configuration Data: Your custom product or agency value proposition is stored locally in your browser using chrome.storage.local.
• Captured Lead Data: Publicly visible LinkedIn post snippets, prospect names, titles, profile URLs, and AI-generated email drafts are stored locally on your device inside your browser's IndexedDB database.
• Website Content (LinkedIn Posts): When the Extension detects a post on LinkedIn containing potential buying-intent keywords, the public text of that post and your saved value proposition are transmitted securely via HTTPS to our Cloudflare Worker API proxy to verify buying intent and generate a tailored email draft. Post text is processed in real time and is not permanently stored on our servers.
• Subscription & Payment Data: Paid subscriptions are managed via ExtensionPay (ExtPay) and processed securely by Stripe. We do not collect, view, or store your credit card details.

2. How We Use Information

We use the processed information solely to provide the core functionality of the Extension: detecting high-intent buyer posts on LinkedIn, generating personalized outreach drafts, and managing your subscription status.

3. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data or captured leads to third parties. Data is only transmitted to essential service providers required to operate the Extension (specifically our Cloudflare Worker proxy and AI language model provider to generate email drafts, and ExtensionPay/Stripe for billing).

4. Chrome Web Store Limited Use Disclosure

The use of information received from Google APIs and the Chrome browser will adhere to the Chrome Web Store Developer Program Policies, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use or transfer user data for serving advertisements, nor do we allow humans to read user data unless explicitly requested by the user for support purposes.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Because your captured leads and settings are stored locally inside your browser, you can delete all stored data at any time by clearing your browser storage or uninstalling the Intent Spotter Chrome Extension.
